The PGHS Media Center

The Pleasant Grove High School Media Center provides many services for students, teachers, and the community. With a curriculum-based collection of books and periodicals, audio visual materials, equipment, and internet resources, the media center is a hub for information and technology services at PGHS. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:45 A.M. - 3:15 P.M.  Students may visit the media center with their class or individually with permission and a pass from their teacher. All students must present their school photo I.D. card to check out books.

The loan period for books is two weeks with one two-week renewal if needed.  Fines will be assessed for books not returned by the due date. Some materials may be put on reserve for classes and therefore may be used only in the media center. A copier is available for non-circulating books and materials.

There are 16 networked computers available for internet use and word processing. Internet access is provided for students who return their “internet use agreement form” signed by themselves and their parent.

The Library/Media Center of Pleasant Grove High School is dedicated to promoting the educational needs and goals of our students and faculty by providing a central location housing quality materials and technology that is age/grade appropriate, an environment conducive to learning, and resources to assist teachers in meeting their objectives.
